Light Reactive Lenses

Lenses that adapt to the light

Light Reactive Lenses are a flexible eyewear solution that adjust to different light conditions. These lenses automatically darken when exposed to sunlight and return to clear when you're indoors or in darker lighting environments such as at night-time, making Light Reactive Lenses an ideal choice for those on the go. If you are sensitive to bright lights and appreciate comfort and convenience, then Light Reactive Lenses might be for you.

How do light reactive lenses work?

Light Reactive Lenses contain photochromic molecules. When UV rays are present, such as outdoor sunlight, these molecules change their structure, causing the lenses to darken. They become clear again in the absence of UV light.

What are the benefits of light reactive lenses?

•   Light Reactive Lenses offer excellent protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays, safeguarding your eyes from potential damage

•   They adjust to varying light intensities which helps reduce eye strain and fatigue. By darkening in bright conditions, Light Reactive Lenses offer both visual clarity and comfort

•   They quickly and seamlessly change from light to dark, making them effortlessly responsive

•   They offer practicality and convenience as they eliminate the need to carry multiple pairs of glasses*

•   They are a stylish addition to your eyewear collection! Light Reactive Lenses can complement any style as they work with different frame shapes, styles and colours of your choice. Match your lens colour with your frame colour to create a complementary or contrasting look, adding a playful touch to your style.
