Episode 4 - Overcoming Financial Difficulty
There is a growing campaign for better financial education in schools from successful business figures who want to help people achieve their goals, regardless of their parentage and how underprivileged their upbringing. We hear some inspiring tips from Steven to steer us on the right path to career success.
Steven Frayne (Dynamo)
British magician, Steven Frayne, formerly known as Dynamo, has recently retired his stage name in a bid to go back to his roots and tour for smaller audiences.
Steven, 42, was born to a white 17-year-old mother in Bradford and a father with Pakistani heritage, who went to prison when he was four. He grew up in poverty and was subjected to racist bullying at school. As a survival technique his great-grandfather taught him magic tricks and he won a grant from The King’s Trust, to pursue magic as a full-time career. The illusionist has battled Crohn’s disease, arthritis and severe depression while making it to the top.
